Our needle-free anesthesia technique greatly increases your comfort by delivering the numbing medication with a special spray device (Mada-jet).  This device delivers the lidocaine anesthetic medication in a very effective jet spray pattern that penetrates the skin and vas deferens.   Most men state that the initial spray feels like a small rubber band snapping on the skin.  On average, men report the discomfort from the spray as a 2 (scale 1-10).  The area becomes numb in less than 30 seconds.  The remainder of the procedure is painless, and all you will feel is a gentle pulling on the testes.  The needle-free anesthesia is used in conjunction with the no-scalpel vasectomy technique.   This results in a near painless vasectomy!
